Projects and applications

Are you innovating in skin health? Here’s how we work together.

The Tiers-Lieu d’Expérimentation SKIN selects a limited number of projects each year to ensure the quality of support. We work with startups, healthcare industry players, as well as cosmetics and dermopharmaceutical companies that require rigorous clinical validation to access demanding markets.

The process is designed to be fast and streamlined: from application to the Technical Committee’s decision, count on 4 weeks.

1 – Pre-selection (Response within 48h)

Your project form is reviewed by the TLE SKIN animation team, the dedicated team that coordinates the consortium on a daily basis. It evaluates the medical or cosmetic relevance of your project, its technical feasibility and market potential.

  • Fill in the project form (document to download)
  • Response within 48 hours
  • If selected: invitation to a qualifying interview and timeline definition

2 – Qualified interview (Approximately 30 minutes)

You present your project freely to the coordination team. This exchange helps identify your bottlenecks, clarify your expectations and define the most suitable pathway before the technical committee presentation.

  • Free presentation of your project
  • Targeted questions on identified bottlenecks
  • Definition of the pathway and preparation for the technical committee presentation

3 – Technical committee (1 to 2 weeks after the interview)

The coordination team presents your project to the TLE SKIN Technical Committee, composed of clinical, technological, regulatory and market experts from the consortium. This format, where our team handles your file, guarantees a structured presentation adapted to the committee’s level of requirement.

  • In-depth technical and clinical analysis by the consortium experts
  • Precise recommendations on improvement areas
  • Opinion submitted to the Steering Committee for final decision
  • Two possible outcomes:
    • Acceptance and launch of support with a personalized work plan and identification of the appropriate intervention mode (service provision or partnership project with public funding)
    • Redirection with recommendations toward more appropriate resources or partners if the project does not fit TLE SKIN’s scope. A redirection is not a final rejection: some projects return to us at a later maturity stage.

From application to decision: 4 to 6 weeks. A deliberately short timeline for rapid implementation.
